Upcoming Events:

Each week on Sundays we take a look at a classic Quake (any of them!) mod, do a radio review of the mod with full details concerning history, authors, mappers, play details, and setup help. After each Quick Reload, we’ll hop on a server somewhere running the mod (or set one up ourselves) and have ourselves a blast!

This plays throughout the week, but we’ll update our cast of news collected from across the Quake universe. You’ll be sure to hear something from us that you won’t hear anywhere else! Also, we’ll give a recap of the tournament action going on, as well as a status update on where we’re headed.

A weekly open duel competition for the Quake II community, and providing an entry for newer players to get their competitive skills up without the hassle of long-term leagues or ladders. Come one, come all, and get your frag on. Info is in the forums, sign-ups start 15 minutes before the event on IRC, and NADL is the killing ground. See you there!

Following the success of the Quake II King of the Hill competition is the Warsow King of the Hill event. Organised by Anhharrell, Sanctify and SquareHimself, this event brings a similar format to the Quake II event for Warsow players of any skill level. Sign-ups on IRC start half an hour before the event, both in #warsow.na on irc.quakenet.org as well as the usual Tastycast channel. Once signed up, connect to hob-games.com to join in the fray!

A weekly podcast where we sit around and discuss Quake development and random happenings in the scene. Headed up by Paril of Altered Softworks (recently of CleanCode Q2 fame), this is a great casual podcast for indie developers everywhere.
