Ready or not, Quakecon 2012 is right around the corner. Whether you’re going to be lanning it up in the BYOC, or smashing faces in the tournaments, you’d better be flexing your QuakeLive muscles. In this spirit, we are proud to announce the eFRAGulation cup. The stream will be live on the 26th and 27th, with matches starting at 8PM EST each day. Sure, we’re cramming it into the last minute, but if you’re already thirsting for blood, this is the place for you.

Summer is on us again, and nothing gets me more excited than to see the plethora of Quake Live cups, leagues, and pickups running this season. We’re happy to re-introduce our little event into the pot, with open signups every week! This week, we experimented with switching to PQL for the Premium half, to mixed results. We’re always open to debate with this crap, but the key thing is that we get games going every week, with full coverage. You can check out the first part here, with the other parts sitting HERE. Doom 3 Speed-Mapping Contest

For the past couple days, I’ve had a weird itch in the back of my head. I knew that, somewhere out there, some groovy dudes were out there devising some truely bad-ass Doom 3 maps. I could feel it in the air: new Doom 3 content was on the way. I could just feel it. Or, HappyFriar just told me.
